Zane Marshall famously known as Zane Van Gogh is a successful, talented and young adult. Zane is not only just the former Student Liaison and Junior Journalist of the Katie Able Foundation, but today he is also a motivational speaker, an upcoming book author and the CEO/President of Marshall Van Gogh, LLC.
Marshall Van Gogh, LLC was founded in March, 2011 and was designed to tap into the minds of the youth to teach them on how to own their futures through building success. Zane’s goal is to reach out to as many of the youth members as he possibly can in order to better our future generations.
While born and raised in the state of Maryland, Zane Marshall is the youngest sibling to an older brother. As the youngest sibling, Zane grasp the concept of learning from people’s mistakes at an early age that powers his success he carries today.
As a high school graduate Mr. Marshall participated on the mock trial team, debate team, modeling team, and was a member of STTARS (Students Taking Their Academics Really Seriously-honors program). Zane Marshall also excelled as an honor roll student and a peer leader as he interned with the Katie Able Foundation in which affiliated with his school.
The Katie Able Foundation is a non-profit organization that teaches students from grades K-20 about financial literacy. Interning at the Katie Able Foundation played a major role in Mr. Marshall’s life. Zane Marshall believes that the Katie Able Foundation has opened many doors to his present life as a teen entrepreneur and a young adult.
While still interning with the Katie Able Foundation, Mr. Marshall hosted an online talk show called “Zane Van Gogh’s Financial Literacy Tips.” On this talk show Mr. Marshall not only covered finances but also interviewed local students and young adults based upon their success, achievements and futuristic goals in hopes of molding our everyday “followers” to become “leaders” because life can be an amazing journey by choice of who you chose to share it with.
As Mr. Marshall resigned from the Katie Able Foundation in the early spring of 2011 to follow his own business ventures; his online talk show later turned into a public online blog site, which is now called “The Marshall VanGogh Weekly,” branding under Marshall Van Gogh, LLC. “The Marshall VanGogh Weekly,” is continuing its success, thanks to the Katie Able Foundation and is welcoming new followers. Zane hopes that more people would engage within the blog site and gain helpful inspirational tips that can be visited at www.zanevangogh.blogspot.com.
As Zane Marshall embarked on an interesting journey, he knows that the journey isn’t over just yet. Zane Marshall knows that the journey has just begun and on May 24, 2011 he was honored President of the NAACP Youth Council of Prince Georges County. As President of the NAACP Youth Council, the role tied well in with his company’s mission statement and that is “making ones presence known by educating, enlightening, and empowering them on how to build success because together we are the future.”
With the NAACP Youth Council Zane hopes in continuing to make a difference within local communities and wants to make sure that the voices of the youth are being heard. As for his business Marshall Van Gogh, LLC, Zane knows that by touching one person that he could touch many more in hopes of expanding his business nation-wide. Zane wishes in making solid change which is making a difference. In Zane Marshall’s eyes this isn’t just any kind of difference, this is the difference of youth being heard, standing out from the crowds, and building success and not failure because together we are as one and we create this nation.
