The Prince George’s County Branch of the NAACP utilizes the funds raised from this event to subsidize branch programs and activities to the entire community including: educational summits, political candidate forums, health initiatives, voter registration, empowerment programs, scholarships and advocacy on behalf of disenfranchised county residents.
